Queensland artist Dale Bullock expressed a fascination with sketching and painting from a very early age and began formal art lessons from the age of 8. She has exhibited in numerous art shows and has been selling her work since the age of 15. The Australian Artist magazine featured a 6 page article on Dale and her paintings in 1997 and again in their commemorative issue of February 2001.
Her oil paintings on canvas are unique in their use of texture and vivid colour creating a three dimensional and tactile effect for the viewer. Dale has drawn on her extensive travels throughout Europe and Northern Africa for the inspiration behind her paintings. Her French provincial and Italian Rivera scenes reflect the ambiance and character of these places.
Dale is having another solo exhibition this year at Graydon Gallery in New Farm, Brisbane from 12th October.
